Having recovered from an eating disorder herself, Sheila brings empathy, understanding, and lived experience to her work. She is dedicated to helping others explore their relationship with food, challenge fears, and cultivate a sustainable, balanced approach to eating. Her philosophy blends evidence-based nutrition with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, empowering clients to nourish their bodies in a way that supports both physical and mental well-being.

Education:

  • Sheila earned her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University and completed her dietetic internship at BALANCE Eating Disorder Treatment Center in New York City, where she worked with clients across the spectrum of eating disorders in both group and individual settings.

  • Sheila loves reading mystery novels, going to the beach, shopping malls, and spending time with her family.
